While the Lincoln Aviator has a lot to offer and is a top choice for families throughout the Elizabeth, NJ and Union, NJ area, we know that there are other three-row models that may be competing for your attention. We're here to illustrate what makes the Lincoln Aviator the best choice you can make.
2023 Lincoln Aviator vs. 2023 Kia Telluride
On the surface, these two SUVs have a lot in common. Both are nearly 200 inches long and around 69 inches tall, and both have four doors and three rows of seats that can accommodate seven people. But if you look a little closer at options, performance, and features, you'll find several key areas where the Lincoln Aviator comes out on top. Read on for more information.
Power and Performance
Where the Lincoln Aviator starts with a turbocharged V6 engine, the Kia Telluride lineup comes with a less-powerful, non-turbo V6. This makes a difference in output, where you can expect a boost of power and a robust 400 horsepower with 415 pound-feet of torque from the Lincoln, and 291 horsepower with 262 pound-feet of torque from Telluride.
Plug-In Hybrid Option
Love SUV style and space but looking for something that's electrified with groundbreaking performance? The 2023 Lincoln Aviator is available as a plug-in hybrid SUV, with a hybrid version of its turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine available on select trims. This state-of-the-art, efficient powertrain produces 494 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque, and it has an all-electric driving range of up to 21 miles before it switches over to traditional hybrid functionality. There is no hybrid option in the Kia Telluride lineup.
Towing Capacity
Thanks to its higher power output and greater performance, the Lincoln Aviator also has a greater towing capacity than the Kia Telluride. Where the Telluride can tow around 5,000 to 5,500 pounds, the Lincoln Aviator with its gas engine can manage up to 6,500 pounds. The hybrid version also can tow up to 5,600 pounds. Either one makes it perfect for towing your family's camper or small boat on weekend adventures near Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ.
Features and Amenities
The list of standard features that come with the Lincoln Aviator is long and includes safety amenities, tech features, comfort amenities, and more. In fact, not only is the list extensive, it also includes a variety of things you won't get standard with the Kia Telluride. Some of our favorite examples include power-adjustable front seats that are also heated, a three-zone automatic climate control system, driver's seat memory settings, a power-operated liftgate, remote engine start, and parking sensors. You can expect each one of these exciting features to come standard on the Lincoln Aviator, but not on the Kia Telluride.
